Dance Competitions have started!

Abbey went to her first solo competition of the year on Saturday. She is doing a solo to the Jordan Pruitt version of Ever, Ever After. She is such a beautiful and graceful dancer. She had several friends that competed too...Sage, Tazya, Jessica, and Courtney. They are great supporters of each other. The mom's and Gracie wore our team shirts. We were also lucky to see our great friends, the Kinghorns, that moved to Rigby. Abbey got 1st runner-up. We are proud of her and her hard work. She would compete every weekend if her mom would let her. She loves to perform.

Basketball

Abbey and Gracie once again enjoyed their basketball season. They were on different teams this year because Abbey had to move up in age. They are both good shooters. They love basketball. Abbey informed me that if she has to choose between playing basketball and cheerleading, she is playing basketball. Keep it up girls!!

YF&R National Leadership Conference

This is our group from Idaho that went to Sacramento for a national leadership conference. We had a good time. Doug and Heather Barrie, John and I, Chris and Kimmell Dalley, and Austin and Maysie Tubbs.
The last day of the conference we went on some tours. One place we went was the Jelly Belly Factory. We got to see how they make Jelly Bellys...interesting. Chris bought a bunch of the Harry Potter flavors. It was fun to make people try flavors like vomit, molding cheese, skunk, boogers, and pencil shavings. It was pretty funny.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

It is tradition for the girls to get Valentine's shirts every year. Carter threw the tradtion for a loop...he wouldn't (nor would dad) appreciate a pink shirt with hearts. We hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day!
