Happy Birthday Little Roberito!

Every once and a while we are lucky enough to get invited to a Hispanic birthday party. They go ALL OUT!!! It is always a fabulous time. This party in particular is the son of Roberto and Isabel. He was turning one.The huge pinata! Little Roberito is getting a ride with help from mom and dad before it is destroyed!

My picture does not do this enormous cake justice. The cake featured a whole ranch.

There was pony rides. This little Cowboy Carter did not want to get off.

Everyone who knows Spanish sings this fun song while the kids are hitting the pinata. Carter thought he knew the song. :) One day I will learn the song!

There you go Gracie...I think I some candy fly!
The food is always amazing. The kids played crazy games and left with a loot of real Mexican candy (hot, hot, hot), and a homemade adorable stick horse for each one.
What a party! Now what will they do when he is 2?!

Visiting GG & GG Lewis

Every time we go to Utah we try to visit my grandparents. I am the oldest grandchild. I feel lucky to have always had a special relationship with them. Grandma has osteoporisis, she is very fragile. She works hard with her therapists to stay as strong as she can be. I am so thankful for their influence in my life. I am grateful that all of my children have a special love for them.
Gracie, Gramma, & Hilary
Here comes Carter to join in!
In the front room, the kids like to stand up on the fireplace and sing a perform. I am glad my grandparents love it as much as the kids do.

Gracie, Grandma, Care, and Hils

Big hugs for Grandpa!!! Carter goes straight to Grandpa for Tootsie Rolls and Capri Suns.
Mom (Cindy), Grandma (Carol), Grandaughter (Caroline)
Abbey had to stay home in Idaho for this trip because she was working with her dairy heifer.
We all love Grandma and Grandpa Lewis!!!

Another day in Yellowstone

When we came into the park the 2nd day, we were once again stopped so people could look at the bald eagle in his nest. We weren't happy about stopping for the eagle, but were very happy to stop for this beautiful elk with a huge rack!
We drove to the north side of the park and saw the gorgeous water falls. Me and my two little girls.

There was a herd of elk just relaxing in the middle of town.

Gramma got everyone Yellowstone sweatshirts. The kids slept in them...this is their morning hello to the camera.

On the white water trip by "House Rock"

There was a photographer taking pictures of the rafts going down the river. The girls got a pretty good ride. Hilary was in the front with them, then moved back for this part of the river.

DAY 3...

When I was younger and my family stayed in Big Sky, we went on a day horseback riding trip with Jake's Horses. We remembered having such a great time we thought we would do it again. Everyone had their own horse. The girls were in heaven. Carter and Elsie were too little so Gramma stayed with them. And we are off!

Here are the cowgirls, where are the horses...let's go!
After our morning of horseriding and lunch, we headed down the Gallatan River for a whitewater rafting trip. We got to wear smelly wet suit, splash jackets, socks and helmets. We looked very fashionable.

My family and Poppy were in a raft together. Our guide took us over the exciting rapids. We got wet and had a blast. Poppy was the only casuality...As our guide was parking our raft it got stuck on a rock and bumped him over board. HEE HEE!

We ended our exhausting, fun filled day, relaxing in the hot tub!
