Happy Father's Day to all the great dads out there. I feel blessed to have a wonderful father. He is an amazing leader and is so talented. I also have special grandpa's who have influenced my life. I am so very grateful to be married to an amazing father. I love watching how my children adore him. Nothing is greater than to spend time with their dad. John is my best friend. I appreciate his influence in our family.

Officially a BIG BOY!
I am so very happy to say that I no longer have to buy anymore diapers. It was a battle of wills. I am glad the mom finally won! It has been two weeks today. Great job Carter, I am so proud of you! BOYS!!!
Simming Lesson #1
Every year the kids look forward to have swimming lessons. We have enjoyed the last two years taking them in Jerome at the Recreation Center. This was Carter's first year to be in a class by himself (without his mom). I enjoy a little sunshine for an hour while I watch them.

YF&R Summer Activity
We had our YF&R summer activity at Stedman's in Raft River again this year. The bad thing was the weather. It rained off and on and was a little cold most of the day. But, saying that, it did not hinder the fun for those that came.
The kids still went down the slide
Abbey, Chloe, Sadie, Gracie, and Hilary (in the late afternoon...the sun came out)
Cute Lindsay with Abbs and Grace on the swings

One of the highlights of the day was the races. Here is John and part of Brandon running in the men's dash. Brandon won but John was on his heels (not bad for an old guy)
Ok, I have to brag just a little...here I am (the OLDEST member of YF&R) and I won the women's dash. For some reason, the second and third place ladies (Kimmel and Morgan) thought we should race again. To my stupidity I did...two more times...but I WON them ALL!!!
Now, my old body is not used of using the fast twitch muscles, so as you can imagine...I felt the triumph for a few days.

Drive-In
Growing up I have fond memories of going to the drive-in movies with my family. We loaded pillows and blankets in the back of Dad's truck and off we went. We probably live in one of the few areas that still have a drive-in theater. I feel lucky becauase I love them. It had been a little rainy on Friday but it cleared up. I oraganized the back of the truck, popped popcorn, and bought treats. Brandon and Lindsay meet us there. We watch the new Disney Pixar movie "UP". It was very cute and we all had a great time.

Happy Birthday Gramma!
Gramma spent her birthday in the car and then sitting through two dance recitals.
My mom has never missed one of my dance recitals. Thanks Mom for always supporting me.
Dancers
Here are my three beautiful dancers. We had quite a crazy day. Abbey and Gracie danced in both the Matinee and the Evening Show. We were lucky to have Gramma, Poppy, and Colby up from Utah. We also had Grandma Andersen, Lindsay, Brandon and can't forget Carter and John who sat through lots of dancing. Abbey also got voted Most Valuable Dancer by her team and got a trophy.
I was also a performing in the Matinee show. I took and adult dance class this year. We performed a lyrical and tap number. I had a lot of fun performing.
