John and I got to go to San Antonio for four days. We went for the National Farm Bureau Convention because we were the YF&R Achievement Award winners. We were lucky to have Kari and AJ Kelsey stay the the kids while we were gone. I think they survived and the kids had a blast with them.
We enjoyed walking the famous River Walk and even took an informational boat tour. Texas is packed with wonderful restaruants...we enjoyed many!!! We had a chance to visit the Alamo. One day we ran over to the mall for a quick lunch between discussion meets. In walks Dwight Howard and another Orlando Magic baketball player. The Magic were playing the Spurs that night. After getting his food at Dairy Queen, he came and sat by us. I asked him if he would be in a picture with me. He was kind enough to say yes. He was very nice. Johon and I had a great time (as fun as you can sitting through farm meetings).
