Fourth of July
Lewiston, Utah has a big celebration on the 4th that we have participated in for several years. We enjoy spending the day with John's family. Our day started bright and early as the sisters-in-law run a 5K and the four girls ran a 1 mile race. Grandma Kay was nice enough to house us. We all ran well. It was a great way to start our 4th of July!

Abbey, Kaitlyn, Rachel, and Gracie

Here is our mile runners ready to go.

Push it Abbey, you are almost there. Rachel is on your tail. Abbey finished in just over 10 minutes.
Great job Gracie! She beat her last year's time coming in at eleven minutes.

After the parade the boys played in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. They did well, but we can't seem to ever take the championship. We enjoyed a picnic at Grandma's then headed back to Declo. After eating....AGAIN....we took out the boat for a quick run.

Gramma and Poppy came up for a couple of days. Gramma brought the kids some water shooters. They played all afternoon on the driveway with the shooters. They had a "blast"!

Week with the cousins
We had a very fun week with Kaitlyn and Hannah. Abbey was in Declo going to an art camp with Rachel and Joelle. Gracie and Hilary were so excited to have their two cousins come stay with us. We had great time going to the park, the library, Bass Lake, the fish farm, swimming, and just being playing at home.

Carter found a dump truck on the beach and was in heaven. He also thought it was great fun to jump off the dock.
Gracie, Sydney, Mariah, and Leslie (dance friends) braving the canoe. I was hoping they would make it back.
Lindsay and me catching a few rays :)
The fish farm to see the alligators
We found the place, now let's go see!
Hello Mr. Alligator! We saw about 5.
The girls pointing to one.
We had a plan to meet up in Pocatello for a fun day at Ross Park to make the kid swap. For some reason Pocatello that day was covered by a black cloud that really didn't move. It poured and hailed like you couldn't believe. So for a change of plans we went to Indian Springs to swim. The water is warm and the kids had a great time.
