Family Trip to Big Sky Montana/Yellowstone

Day 1...mainly the drive to Big Sky
John, I and the kids met Gramma, Poppy, Meg, Todd and girls in Pocatello for breakfast at IHop. Everyone was so excited. Poppy gave each car binoculars and a walkie/talkie. For driving trips like this, I am so very grateful for TV/DVD's in the car. :)We stayed in fun condos in beautiful Big Sky, Montana right on top of the mountain. The kids were so excited to "swim" in the hot tub. The mosquitoes LOVED us!!
We ate at a fun restaurant called "Bugaboo". I am not sure if they don't have air conditioning or if it was broken but it was HOT!!!

Carter and Gracie posing outside the restaurant.

On our way to Big Sky, we spotted a Moose. Yeah...first animal sighting of the trip.

There she is ...kind of skinny but a moose none the less.

The girls had so much fun! We get to see them at dance but wish they lived closer (they live in Buhl) so we could get together more often.Hannah and Gracie

Sun City Carnival!!!

Yee Hah!! John, Brandon, Lindsay, and I went to see Kenny Chesney in Boise for his Sun City Carnival Tour. Kenny is quite the performer. We had a great time.
Someone in the audience gave Kenny a Boise State hat. He wore it for the end song. He also put a video together with things from the Boise area that played while he sang one of his songs. Everyone got pretty excited about both things.

Care and John getting ready for conert to start.

We also saw Miranda Lambert...loved her pink guitar.

Lady Antabellum....AWESOME!!!

Summer Night on the River

We love getting out on the boat. It seems like we don't get to very often. Abbey is doing great on the knee board. John, Brandon, Lindsay, and I got on the wakeboard. The kids love the water this time of year because it is nice and warm.
