Tooth Fairy!!

I don't know of a household that likes losing teeth as much as ours. Hilary was so excited to lose her FIRST tooth!! She has been patiently waiting for the time to come. She was happy to get $.75, which will be a great treat from the vending machine at the dance studio.

Cute toothless smile

Spring Break in March :)

Our spring break is so early, it doesn't seem like spring but we will take the break! The kids and I went to Utah to visit family. We love seeing Grandma and Grandpa Lewis when we get down. Grandma fell and broke her pelvis several weeks ago. She has been staying in the Aspen Care Center for her recovery. It was a beautiful place. The kids enjoyed going on a walk with Grandma and seeing the salt water fish tank. Grandma is getting stronger and hopes to be home soon.

Some of our entertainment was playing "Peas Poridge HOT"

The girls and I got to go with Grandma to her Relief Society celebration. We all made princess crowns and and heirloom. We also had yummy fondu and got our pictures taken. Carter got to hang out with Poppy (and they survived).
I try to take my sister-in-laws that are in Provo going to school out to lunch when I come to visit. We took Heather and Lindsay to Cafe Rio. I am sad I didn't get a picture. This will be our last occasion since Lindsay just finished beauty school and her and Brandon will be moving to Idaho the end of April. Heather is graduating from BYU's business school in April too. We don't know where she will end up yet but can't wait to see her next adventure.
Megan and I took the Hilary, Carter, Elsie and Livvie swimming at this really fun indoor pool in Lehi. I even stayed in the water the whole time because it is warm. The kids had a blast playing on the equipment and going down the slides.
Here is Elsie and Carter...best buds. Elsie had to show Carter how to be brave!

Hilary is 6!!

On Sunday, March 14th at 5:33 AM in Pocatello, Idaho, another princess was added to our family.
Hilary Jean came about three weeks early but weighed 7lbs 15oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. From the start, Hils has had a mind of her own.
Hilary is very creative and has a great imagination. She is quite the jabber-wacky. She loves dance, sports, school, and reading.
We had a weekend of celebrating her birthday. Gramma and Poppy came up from Utah. On Saturday, Grandma Andersen brought Joelle, Lydia, and Wyatt. All of us and three more friends went bowling.
Lydia, Abigail, Hilary, Mia, Janessa,
Gracie, Wyatt, & Carter
Abbey was wishing she got to play on the bumper side :)
Patiently waiting their turns!
Wyatt was hilarious! He would let go of his ball then pose with his arms up until the ball struck the pins. Maybe it was his secret good luck.
Carter loved it. He drove me crazy wondering when his next turn was.

Best buddies...Carter and Wyatt. Watch out National Bowling League, these two are on their way!
Gracie the perfectionist!

After bowling we came back to the house for presents and cake. This is one happy birthday girl!
Hilary LOVES these blowing things!

YUMMY!
Sunday was her actual birthday so we celebrated again. She choose chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, and orange chicken for dinner. We were so excited the Driscoll's came over to see us.

Thanks to everyone who made this much anticipated day (for hil) a spectacular one!!

Abbey and Gracie played in piano festival again this year. They both played some really fun songs. I admitt that I won't be sad not to hear them for a few weeks :)!!! I stuck my ear to the doors as they went in with the judges. They played them perfect. I was so proud of them. Hard work pays off!!! Good job girls on your Superiors!!!

A whole new world!

Abbey is a happy girl...SHE CAN SEE!!! She has loved her new glasses. I can't relate but I know her dad can. She keeps saying.. "WOW, I can see that sign" or "Look, I can read that".

Ultimate Solo Challenge...February 27

The first dance competition of the year. We went to Idaho Falls. Abbey is doing a lyrical dance to Taylor Swift "Crazier" choreographed by my cousin Caitlyn MacEwen. Abbey and Gracie are doing a jazz duet to "Gitchee Gitchee Goo". Gracie has been beyond excited to perform and go to competition.

They had a great day! Abbey and Gracie won first place and Abbey got Queen (first place) in their divisions.
Their duet was the highest scored duet so they got a cash prize.
We went up with Abbey's friend, Tauyza and her mom. All the girls had a great day.
We also had some excitment during the competition. There was a bomb threat. We were quickly evacuated. It was crazy! All the dancers were outside freezing in little costumes and no shoes. They cleared us quickly and the dancers continued.
Also, thankfully for me...Carter and Hilary got to stay at Aunt Gwen's and played with Wyatt and Lydia. They had a blast too!

Halftime at the CSI game

All 5 teams from Julie's Jazzworks got to do a dance at the CSI halftime. It is good practice for them. Gracie especially was excited.

Kindergarten Basketball Clinic

Hilary wanted to play basketball with her sisters so bad this year. She didn't understand why she couldn't. She would wear her basketball stuff to their games. I was happy that the rec center put on a basketball 4 day basketball clinc for kindergarteners. She was so excited and loved every second of it.

At the end of the clinic they were surprised to get a basketball. Hilary is so happy to have HER OWN ball!!!
Here she is at the shooting station
they practiced dribbling, passing, and defense too
