New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's at the Andersen's house eating and playing games. We had lots of fun with Joelle's "Dance Revolution" on the Wii (at least I did). We are ready for the fun of 2008!

Sledding in the Field

Over Christmas break we had a fun day sledding in the field next to our house. Alan, Brandon, Lindsay, Heather, & Joelle came over to join us. The dogs that it was real fun to chase the sleds around. Can you guess which one is Brandon?

We had a great Christmas! Carter's big suprise was too big to travel to Utah so he and the girls got to enjoyed it a few days early. Now he can be just like Dad in is Gator/tractor. Carter all month as been terrified of Santa. He loves saying his name but wanted NOTHING to do with him or the area in the mall where he was. At the Andersen party on the 23rd, Santa came for a visit. Carter quickly changed his mind about being Santa's pal as he exchanged his shepherd's staff for one of Santa's candy canes. Abbey and Gracie were excited to get American Girl dolls. Abbey named hers Gabby. She has her ears peirced since Abbey can't wait to get hers peirced in May. She also got Jackson the horse. Gracie's doll is named Graciella. She is spunky and adventurous like Gracie. Hilary is our Ariel nut. All of us enjoyed spending time with all our family. We feel very blessed!!

My Performers!

All the girls are in dance. Gracie and Hilary performed at the Festival of Trees and Abbey had a piano recital in one day. This week they all performed in the Christmas recital at CSI. This is Hilary's first year and is one of the youngest in her class but knew every step. She was our "Candy Cane". Gracie is a great performer and quite a perfectionist. Gracie was "Edith the Elf". Abbey performed twice. She did a ballet number to "Sleigh Ride" and the Team did a tap number to a "Rocking Reindeer". Don't tell John but Carter was doing an arabesque :) Right before the last number the instructor pushed the dancers back off stage and came to the mic. "Caroline Andersen, we need you to come to the stage. Your daughter needs you". I could see Gracie in the wings with her teacher. All the girls were lined up for the finale, when a irritated drama teacher came out and slammed the fire door...on Gracie's fingers. They got smashed pretty good.

Trying to get everyone to look at the camera!

It is a trial with four kids (not that adults are much better) to all look and smile at the camera. Usally you have to just take the best!
